Manager - Corporate & Institutional Sales

About the Job

As an Manager – Corporate Sales you will work towards meeting and exceed monthly sales objectives and customer satisfaction standards by prospecting, cold–calling, networking, generating leads, and then closing sales with new and existing clients. You will manage all phases the B2B sales cycle right from identifying prospective clients, negotiating deals with new and existing clients, close deals, working closely with various Chumbak teams to ensure product delivery and highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities at B2B channel by promoting Chumbak products to new and existing corporate clients.
  • Own the entire process, client acquisition and management, deal acquisition and management, oversee delivery, and ensure client receivables. This would include working with all internal stakeholders including planning, retail, warehouse, finance and related teams.
  • Approach new businesses with proposals.
  • Manage and maintain sales / clients database.
  • Establish & maintain efficient relationship with new and existing clients
  • Generate new business opportunities in assigned territory / channel 
  • Create proposals for target clients with relevant info and quotes
  • Manage clients’ / projects’ receivables and cash collections in light of preset financial KPI
  • Ensure clients have positive experience by communicating effectively pre and post deal process. 
  • Work closely with relevant departments / colleagues in finance, marketing, product, retail, warehouse to ensure efficient operation in terms of product availability, storage, delivery & after sales service.
  • Particularly would need to work very closely with design and product teams to ensure desired product availability.
  • Work closely with marketing team to design required promotion and awareness campaigns for target market / clients.

Desired Experience and Skills

Education: Graduate / MBA
Years of Experience: 6-10 years

Should have:

  • 6-10 years of successful sales experience with 3+ years in B2B sales in corporate gifting
  • Effective Communication Skills (Oral, Written, Group Presentation).
  • Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as some experience with CRM tools 
  • Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment.
  • Should be open to extensive travel both within Bangalore as well as across the country as per the requirement.
  • Demonstrated high ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity and character.
