About the Job

In this dynamic role you will have full responsibility for all online stores, which include our Marketplace partnerships such as, Myntra, Jabong, Amazon and Flipkart; along with Chumbak.com.

You will be responsible to grow the business further, with a keen eye on our business growth plan and key metrics to deliver the growth. You will have an insatiable desire to contribute to a young, energetic and fast growing brand that provides a strong platform to grow the Chumbak online business across channels.


Role & Responsibilities

  • The Head - Online is responsible to manage all aspects of the online business including business and category planning, relationships with category and marketing teams at our Marketplace partners, Digital marketing and user acquisition, product strategy and development, online marketing, customer service & analytics.
  • Relationship with our marketplace partners to grow and sustain the business is key. Engaging with the senior leadership at our partner teams along with category and marketing teams to ensure the growth of our accounts.
  • Responsible for managing the P/L for the online business and drive the development and execution of strategic and tactical online business plans.
  • Leading the online roadmap - driving KPIs across the business and working collaboratively with the senior management team and partner teams.
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase online sales and profitability. Direct online marketing activities across partners, web and app to drive user acquisition and online sales.
  • Recruit & build a team that is customer-focused, innovative, fast and team-oriented to grow the online business.
  • Work collaboratively with HO teams including Marketing, Technology and Operations to deliver the online strategy for the business. 
  • Co-ordinate with Category teams to ensure availability of inventory to meet the desired targets. 
  • Co-ordinate with the Technology team to manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns to drive revenue through the online store
  • Manage all aspects of Analytics related to online and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners.  



Desired Experience and Skills
Education : MBA, preferably from a top college.
Years of Experience : 4 - 8 years
 
Should have :

  • Extensive experience with Marketplaces and online B2C
  • Highly commercial with a good head for numbers and data, you should be able to derive business insights, and driving successful online sales & operations for the brand.
  • Good experience in Online marketing with a strong focus on User acquisition as well as driving online sales and operations for both web as well as app.
  • Excellent people management skills, able to drive high performance teams, proven expertise in managing external as well as internal stakeholders
  • Should be able to provide strategic leadership as well have hands-on leadership style with an innate ability to roll up the sleeves and get the work done.
  • Shows high energy, passion and high level of enthusiasm.
  • Start-up experience would be an added plus
